However, contemporary research — including cross-validation against thousands of verified birth charts — indicates that the Pushya-Paksha Ayanamsha aligns more precisely with observed life events for people born after 1955. We apply the ayanamsha that yields the highest empirical accuracy for your generation.
Why must I enter my birth time very accurately?
In Vedic astrology, the Ascendant (Lagna) changes sign roughly every two hours and the Navamsa (D9) every 13 minutes. An error of even 15–20 minutes can shift the Lagna, alter house lord assignments, and completely change divisional chart outcomes. KP (Krishnamurti Paddhati) is a precision system developed by K. S. Krishnamurti in the 20th century. It divides each nakshatra into sub-lords based on the Vimshottari dasha proportions, creating a granular layer of planetary rulership that narrows event timing from years (in traditional dasha) to months or even weeks. We overlay KP sub-lord analysis on top of the classical Brihat Parashara framework to give you the sharpest possible event window.
